Our AKC puppies are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, and we work closely with new owners to ensure that they have all the information and support they need. We will be around for our owners for as long as needed. Our dogs are given the best health care, training and nutrition as well as our puppies. We strive to for excellence.

We adhere to the highest standards when it comes to breeding dogs. We only breed dogs that are healthy, happy, and have the best possible temperament. We also follow strict guidelines to ensure that our home and our breeding practices are ethical and responsible. All our dogs are loved and live indoors - they are a part of our family and our heart.
I also follow "The Rule of 7's."
All puppies before 8 weeks will:
Meet at least 7 different people.
Drive in a car for at least 7 miles.
Been in 7 different locations with no risk to the pup. Eaten from 7 different containers.
Played with 7 different toys.
Played or taken away from littermates 7xs.

Since I breed 2 different breeds, our Dames and Sires have come from several different breeders. Our Male Labrador Retriever came from an extremely established and well-loved breeder in Oregon. You can find her information at www.silverandgoldlabradors,com
Our female Labrador Retriever also came from a breeder in Oregon; however, she has since retired due her business being lost during the fires in 2022.
Our chocolate female that is being trained in field and hunting comes from www.morrisonlabradorretrievers.com
Our female Saint Bernard is from a New Jersey Breeder who has since retired, and our male is from a Breeder in Pennsylvania, Misty Run Saints. Our newest member to the Marlow Hill breeder is Lady Maggie - a gorgeous Saint Bernard female from the well -established Cove Mountain Saints

Where We Started
As a Certified Animal Behavior Trainer, I am committed to insuring all of our dogs are given the best nutrition, training and care. With years of experience, I have a great understanding of their temperament, behavior, and health needs, which allows us to produce high-quality puppies that make great pets.
To ensure the breeding of quality puppies I am constantly expanding my knowledge of various breeds and behaviors. I have graduated from several programs and use this knowledge in my breeding practice. Being a smaller breeder, I spend a huge amount of time with my dogs ensuring they have a quality diet, daily enrichment and lots and lots of Love!
I continually attend training webinars through the AKC and other avenues to keep my training updated. This makes me available to help my families as questions arise. If you would like, I will be your breeder for life.
I also volunteer at the local Humane Shelter, utilizing my skills to improve the life of dogs less fortunate but still extremely valuable!
As a breeder I am committed to my pups and their new families - making myself available to any questions they may have.
Committed to AKC Standards
Over the years I have been a loyal member of the AKC adhering to all rules and regulations regarding the breeding, training and caring for my dogs. All my dogs are medically sound and are under the care of Park Place Veterinarian in Swanzey, NH. They receive all necessary exams, shots and tests as needed to ensure they are in top health and produce healthy pups. All puppies are given a one-year genetic guarantee.
I believe that all dogs should go through the Good Citizens Program as they will go through life alongside humans. Ensuring your dog is well trained is essential to your dog having its best life! This training is easy and after a quick test, your dog is certified.
Reviews: This is it! I thought as I walked into the comfortable home of Marlow Hill Breeders. There, in the cordoned off corner of the living room were 11 adorable labrador retriever puppies -some noodling each other, some bumbling over one another and some just sound asleep. As we handled each pup, Mary was able to tell us a little about their personalities - even at 6 weeks old! We chose Rennie and she has all the traits Mary described. We are thrilled!!!! Lady Chloe and Sir Coal both owned by Marlow Hill Breeders won't be having another litter till next year so you will have to wait. However, the wait will be worth it, I promise!! We first found Mary and Marlow Hill Breeders through the AKC website. We had a great feeling from the start. Her website and Facebook pages really impressed us and quickly demonstrated her dedication. After picking out our Bennie, Mary kept us informed, answering any questions we had and providing frequent updates with photos and videos of the crew. She made us feel like a part of the process while the puppies were being raised. During the first meeting, we felt welcome at Mary’s home and could immediately see how committed she is to her work. Upon visiting, we were able to spend as much time as we needed with the puppies and their mother. The dogs were all born and raised in the house, with her family. Mary’s expertise in animal behavior, commitment and love for her dogs exhibits itself in each of her pups. They are social, happy and healthy little bundles of joy.

We had several conversations with Mary, but due to a prior family commitment, we would not be able to pick a pup up when they were being released. So, sadly we said no. Fast forward a year. We had no intention of adding another dog to our family. Yet there was that little yellow boy who had not been spoken for. So I called, sent a deposit and thought oh my! It was meant to be. He (Logan) and Leah (from Chloe’s first litter) are best buddies. Luke will join in on occasion but prefers to be in the tractor with his human Dad! So, all of that said, we couldn’t be more pleased with Leah and Logan, and the time and dedication that Mary and her husband put into raising these beautiful puppies. Lots of adventures ahead!

From my very first phone call with Mary, I knew she was the right choice. Her practices are ethical, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the breed and the process, and most importantly, she is genuinely passionate about what she does.
Mary made us feel like part of the process from start to finish. Nearly every day, she sent updates, photos, and videos of the puppies. Because we couldn’t visit in person to choose, she Face Timed us, walked us through each puppy’s personality, and helped thoughtfully match us with a pup that fit our lifestyle perfectly. When it was time to pick up our puppy, Finn, Mary welcomed us into her home, where the entire litter was happily set up in her living room. She also provided a detailed packet with veterinary records, breed information, and notes outlining the training and socialization she had already started.
Finn has been nothing short of exceptional. He is healthy, loving, emotionally and mentally intelligent, and quick to train.

I was a little nervous going with a breeder I hadn’t worked with before, but you truly put my mind at ease- opening your heart and home to us so we could meet Jupiter’s mom and dad and see their environment. Faithful Daisy! We are so happy we found Marlow Hill Breeders with Mary the den mother and her mighty fine team of husband Pete and daughter Gabby. From the moment, we contacted them about getting a Black Lab Puppy from their December litter we could not have been happier with them. They kept us informed of the young lads and ladies that reside with the family. In fact, they literally live in the family living room. Heated to a temp that any puppy would love (and needs). Setup for the puppies was immaculate. There was no question that these puppies were not only taken care of but shown great love and affection every day of their lives. Truly, you could not find better or more caring owners and breeder of these puppies. Mary kept us informed with regular pictures and even occasional videos of the litter with our young star Faithful as Mary called her. How she was able to isolate our pup as it was a big litter, truly she is amazing!

We are so grateful that we were given the recommendation of Marlow Hill breeders by a friend who had a great experience. We lost our beloved dog 1 year prior and with some healing and my son’s desire for a new addition we thought it was the right time. Since his arrival we have welcomed a baby, and Marv has been so sweet and gentle, which says a lot especially for a puppy with lots of energy! I look forward to watching my kids grow up with Marv! When Mary first said she bred for temperament, I didn’t fully understand what that meant. I just knew I wanted a black Lab :) Now I completely get it. Bruno is confident, well-adjusted, and very well behaved for a puppy. He slept through the night by day three and has had no nervousness or attachment issues.
Mary also clearly cares deeply about her dogs. She doesn’t just place puppies and disappear. She follows up, checks in, asks questions, and freely gives advice, which has been so helpful as a first-time dog owner.
